This is our follow-up class for the NXTadvance students. It provides students with more in-depth and advance programming and building as well as creativity skills. Since it is class based, activities are not as as structured, and more fun.

Homework is provided to students, allowing them to re-enforce and apply what they have learnt from the class. The NXTclass emphasizes on the child's creativity to explore new possibility and create new robots or vehicles.

You are required to complete NXTbasic and NXTadvance before you can enroll into NXTclass. You must also have your own NXT set, in order to accomplish your assignments.

Each session will start by reviewing the homework provided. Class will then proceed with by reviewing new ideas and methods, whether it is building or programming based. Task will be given out, allowing students to put into practical use new methods that they have learnt. There will be no instructions for building or programming, allowing the student to design and build what they believe is the best. Homework will be assigned to students, allowing them to build and create more complicated robots or vehicles during their free time.

Students are encourage to learn and explore, to think 'outside the box'. With other students in the class, students are able to exchange ideas as well as learn from each other and see the different solutions to the same problem.

At times, a little healty competition between the students will bring the best out of them! Once in every two months students will be able to participate in a friendly competition; Whether it is a robot to explore a new environment, or a Sumo Bot, a task will be given to all the students. A little fun and competition never hurts!
